The infrastructure beneath the next era of human biology.

Heru Genomics builds the computational substrate for predictive genomics: the reference data, the calibration, the analytical pipelines, and the science. Haeckel, our first product, is the interface the world meets it through.

Why now

Consumer genomics collapsed. The science kept moving.

23andMe introduced a generation to their own DNA, then came apart, and took with it the idea that consumer genomics could be more than a novelty. The science kept accelerating: polygenic scores, dense ancient-DNA panels, foundation models for biology. The distance between what the science can now do and what a person can actually access has never been wider. Heru exists to close it, at the level of rigor the data demands. The next era of human biology will be built on genomic prediction; the only question is who builds the infrastructure for it, and to what standard.

Principles

Rigor over reach

Every inference cites a method. Below its confidence threshold it returns no result. Uncertainty is reported explicitly.

Your genome is yours

Encrypted at the application layer, exportable in full, deletable on command. Never sold.

Substrate before surface

The moat is the reference data and the science. The foundation comes first; nothing else matters if the data is wrong.

Heru and Haeckel

Haeckel is the interface. Heru is the substrate.

Haeckel is the flagship surface: a genomic intelligence anyone can talk to. Behind it, Heru builds the substrate: reference databases, PRS calibration, analytical pipelines, and the research that makes it possible. The product is what you see; the substrate is the moat, and it is now opening to the people who will shape what comes next.
